Palawan is a long, narrow island in the Philippines. The flora & fauna of Palawan is unlike the rest of Philippines and closely resembles that of Borneo. It is famous for the Underground Puerto Princessa Subterranean River National Park. Palawan is home to a number of endemic birds and here are a few of them I managed to photograph during my visit. My most memorable experience was looking for Owls & Frogmouth at night- these birds are beautiful and the complete darkness makes the experience of birding at night very exciting!
